Les th\u00e8mes abord\u00e9s par ce diagnostic sont les probl\u00e8mes actuels de la fili\u00e8re : <\/p>\n

la question du prix, les comportements changeants du consommateur, l’existence du bon produit et les conditions d’une reprise de la consommation.<\/p>\n

Les professionnels du meuble communiquent principalement sur le prix depuis plusieurs d\u00e9cennies et ont \u00e9t\u00e9 rattrap\u00e9s, d\u00e9pass\u00e9s, par le discount. Ainsi remarque-t-on le d\u00e9veloppement des enseignes en \u00a0\u00bb aire \u00a0\u00bb : Le Faillitaire, l’Inventaire, Le Destockaire, le N\u00e9gociataire… Ces concepts sont fond\u00e9s sur l’opportunisme et la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de d\u00e9stocker de certains industriels. On propose le prix le plus bas , mais le consommateur n’attend-il vraiment que cela ?<\/em><\/strong> Si l’on adopte une politique d’innovation et qu’on la valorise aupr\u00e8s du consommateur, cela permet de revoir les tarifs. Aujourd’hui le consommateur est \u00e0 la recherche d’une solution d’am\u00e9nagement de son int\u00e9rieur et de son confort. Ce focus des prix bas n’est pas le reflet de l’ensemble de la consommation. Les enseignes qui se positionnent actuellement sur les gammes moyennes et offrent un vrai service vont cro\u00eetre. <\/p>\n

Le consommateur est difficile \u00e0 cerner<\/em><\/strong>. Il ach\u00e8te des revues de d\u00e9coration mais diff\u00e8re ses achats de mobilier au profit de la vid\u00e9o ou des voyages. Aussi les concepts de distribution qui se ruent sur une logique d’\u00e9quipement de la maison, sur le lourd ou l’investissement \u00e0 long terme avec une vision traditionnelle du m\u00e9tier ont un peu de plomb dans l’aile. Alors que ceux qui globalisent leur offre ind\u00e9pendamment du meuble en amenant tous les \u00e9l\u00e9ments qui vont autour ont tendance \u00e0 r\u00e9ussir<\/em><\/strong>. <\/p>\n

Autre paradoxe le boom immobilier ne profite pas au meuble<\/em><\/strong>. Un frein \u00e0 l’achat de meuble est li\u00e9 \u00e0 la structure m\u00eame de la distribution et \u00e0 l’absence de l’offre meuble dans les centres villes. Et m\u00eame si certaines enseignes ont fait de vrais efforts pour cr\u00e9er des ambiances, le consommateur reste frileux, il est toujours possible de reporter l’achat d’un meuble. On ne sait pas encore stimuler le d\u00e9clencheur de la d\u00e9cision du client. On peut se poser simplement la question du bon produit. Le secteur a-t-il suffisamment de capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 innover ?<\/em><\/strong> Non seulement il faut faire r\u00eaver mais aussi il est n\u00e9cessaire d’apporter tous les services attendus. Les meubles doivent innover suivant les fonctionnalit\u00e9s nouvelles souhait\u00e9es. Il existe un r\u00e9el d\u00e9calage entre ces attentes, la d\u00e9marche du design qui p\u00e9n\u00e8tre l’entreprise et ce que l’on trouve dans les magasins. En plus les fran\u00e7ais sont demandeurs de modernit\u00e9 et l’offre reste tr\u00e8s classique<\/em><\/strong>. Aujourd’hui on peut facilement associer du meuble traditionnel et du design. Sur ce point les magasins doivent revoir leur mise en sc\u00e8ne.<\/p>\n
