MD : Faire du commerce aujourd’hui, est-ce facile ?<\/b>
<\/span>EdL<\/b> : On a connu jusqu’ici une mont\u00e9e des enseignes et des consommations, mais qui arrive \u00e0 saturation. Tout devient fragile. Il suffit d’un petit concurrent qui vient \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9, d’une petite galerie ou d’un petit centre commercial qui ouvre. C’est le moment o\u00f9 l’on doit \u00eatre le plus mobile, o\u00f9 l’on doit le plus changer, le plus \u00e9voluer. Augmenter son chiffre de 10 % l’an sans rien faire, c’est fini. On est en train de revenir \u00e0 la vraie qualit\u00e9 du commerce. <\/p>\n

Le commer\u00e7ant doit d\u00e9sormais consid\u00e9rer qu’il fait un vrai m\u00e9tier honorable<\/b>, qu’il est un acteur de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9. Il ne s’agit plus d’ouvrir vitrine, de se mettre derri\u00e8re son tiroir-caisse et d’attendre que les gens rentrent. Ce n’est pas une affaire de m\u00e9diocres. <\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

MD : Quelles sont les qualit\u00e9s du commer\u00e7ant moderne ?<\/h2>\n

EdL<\/b> : Les commer\u00e7ants, m\u00eame les franchis\u00e9s ou les adh\u00e9rents de groupements, sont trop isol\u00e9s.<\/b> Pour y rem\u00e9dier, ils ont besoin d’\u00e9largir leur horizon \u00e0 travers des r\u00e9seaux relationnels.
Il est indispensable d’\u00eatre inform\u00e9, de s’abonner \u00e0 Internet, de discuter avec ses voisins, de lire des journaux professionnels, de participer \u00e0 des colloques.
Sans obligatoirement entrer au Conseil Municipal, le commer\u00e7ant doit s’int\u00e9resser \u00e0 la vie locale, rencontrer r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement l’Adjoint au commerce, approcher la CCI ou la Chambre des M\u00e9tiers. Il doit \u00eatre en relation avec les Associations de Commer\u00e7ants, avec le manager de centre ville. Bien s\u00fbr, il y a du bon et du mauvais dans tous ces organismes, mais le commer\u00e7ant a tout int\u00e9r\u00eat \u00e0 rentrer dans ces r\u00e9seaux relationnels, tout en restant critique et sans \u00eatre l’opposant professionnel. <\/p>\n

Il faut s’entourer de comp\u00e9tences. Choisir son expert-comptable, qui ait d’autres commer\u00e7ants comme clients, devient d\u00e9terminant. Cela permet, pour tous les points \u00e0 caract\u00e8re financier, d’\u00eatre en \u00e9change, en r\u00e9seau, avec ses coll\u00e8gues. Prendre quelqu’un qui ne travaille qu’avec des m\u00e9decins serait une erreur professionnelle.
Etre un chef d’entreprise, c’est aussi savoir acheter les services de bons professionnels. En mati\u00e8re\u00a0 de communication et de choix de l’emplacement, d\u00e9cider seul serait une erreur. <\/div>\n

MD : Un franchis\u00e9 a-t-il int\u00e9r\u00eat \u00e0 s’installer en centre ville, en emplacement n\u00b01, en centre commercial ? Doit-il d\u00e9m\u00e9nager r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement ?<\/h2>\n

EdL <\/b> : J’aurais tendance \u00e0 dire que le commerce de centre ville, c’est une vraie s\u00e9curit\u00e9 parce que les boutiques de centre villes auront toujours un flux de clients passant devant elles.<\/b> Au contraire, on commence \u00e0 voir des friches commerciales de parcs d’activit\u00e9s commerciales.
Il\u00a0 devient int\u00e9ressant de s’installer sur des emplacements 1 bis ou 2, voire dans des quartiers, un peu \u00e0 l’ombre. Ces emplacements secondaires sont beaucoup plus \u00e0 la port\u00e9e de quelqu’un qui a une id\u00e9e, pour tester les choses, sans d\u00e9penser des loyers de 350 \u00e0 650 euros au m2. <\/p>\n

Un commer\u00e7ant qui ne se pose pas tous les deux ans la question de sa localisation commet forc\u00e9ment une erreur. \u0093 Je sens qu’il y a un projet commercial \u00e0 tel endroit. La g\u00e9ographie commerciale va bouger. J’ai int\u00e9r\u00eat \u00e0 vendre au moment o\u00f9 \u00e7a vaut cher, avant que ma rue commence \u00e0 d\u00e9cliner. Ou alors je prends un deuxi\u00e8me magasin pr\u00e8s du nouveau centre commercial, pour larguer au bon moment, me pr\u00e9parer \u00e0 des mutations, etc \u0094.<\/p>\n
